Seed of Life (SoL) is a farmer-led movement founded in 2022 to end hunger through community farming, school gardens, and farmer training in Kori Chiefdom, Moyamba District.
We combine traditional farming knowledge with regenerative practices to deliver practical, measurable results across food production, education, and livelihoods.
Operating farms in Kangahun Yelleh producing rice, corn, cassava, groundnuts and cocoa — with plans to scale to 20 acres.
Hands-on gardening programs in schools teach children practical skills and improve nutrition.
Farmer field schools and women’s empowerment sessions on improved seeds, tools, and post-harvest practices.
Seed of Life’s interventions are already delivering results through farmer training, tool distribution, and community engagement.
In Taiama and surrounding villages, families were facing daily hunger. Founded by Daniel Josiah in 2022 after witnessing children go hungry, Seed of Life started with a small plot and four volunteers. Today, we mobilize farmers, schools, and youth to grow nutritious food and build resilient livelihoods.
Support our work through donations, partnerships, or volunteering. Your contribution helps us buy seeds, tools, and provide training that directly impacts families and schools.
